How much do I have to contribute to the site before being able to vote yes/no on submitted movies? I would have really liked to vote yes on the new Sonic the Hedgehog run.

I think Bisqwit, or another administrator, has to set it manually. Basically how it works is that once you've shown contribution to the community discussion, and asked for it, you're allowed to vote shortly thereafter.
