What would you combine? This can be for TASing or regular play, on any system, with crossing over between systems. I would combine The Sims 2 with Age of Mythology (Age of Mythology is an RTS, in case you don't know). Here's what would happen: I would get to build my town, all age-of-mythology-like while my sister plays The Sims 2 on another computer, blissfully unaware that the games have been combined. Then I send over an army and start to destroy whatever house she is currently looking over. The Sims take out guns and start blasting at units, and eventually get killed. Then the house is destroyed, and I move on to another house. After a couple houses go down, the army rolls in, and there's an epic battle between modern technology and ancient mythology. Another good combo would be Impossible Creatures and Zoo Tycoon. In IC, there are alot of elements, but the element that would be kept would be combining 2 animals for 1 animal. So you could have a zoo with 127, 392 unique exhibits. Another idea: Combine Roller Coaster Tycoon with Zoo Tycoon. It's a super-duper theme park!

Sonic 3&K in a Metroid-style setting. Megaman X or Zero or something like that (pick any of them) in a Metroid-style setting. Super Metroid: Redesign in Sonic 3&K setting. Would have the potential to be interesting to play, and look absolutely awesome in a TAS.

I guess I want to see Kirby in a first-person shooter! Or maybe third-person, like viewing just behind him so you can see his pinkness.

I'd combine michael jackson's moonwalker with any game: http://www.koreus.com/media/michael-jackson-vs-famicom.html and this one (same concept) http://www.funlol.com/funpages/michael-jackson-video-game.html

I want to see a Mario and RPG crossed, but not the way they've been doing it with the Mario RPG series. I'm imagining something with classic sidescrolling gameplay, but the entire world is interconnected and you have to run from area to area to get around. And, in the style of Mario, make the world HUGE with about one hundred "levels".

Isn't that basically the premise of Megaman ZX? I'd like to see a game that combines elements of Guardian Heroes and El Viento, with possibly some Zelda on the side. That could prove to be interesting. Pokémon with the gameplay of Super Robot Wars. That would be awesome.

Deus Ex mixed with Starcraft... though I think the FPS+RTS idea has been done already. Moonwalker+starcraft! MJ rush would beat a hydralisk rush any day.

Damn, that would be awesome.

The gameplay of diablo 2 with the graphics of GuildWars or Spellforce and a native linux client. If I got that kind of game I'd sell my wii.

Paper Mario is kind of like this, and Super Paper Mario even moreso.

Mario with guns sounds nice.

Sounds very much like Yoshi's Island, except for Yoshi's cloaca instead of a gun.

I was thinking more of a 3rd person shooter like JFG except that you can do triple jumps, dives, and whatnot.

ALL OF THEM! If that's not an option I'll choose Super Metroid and Gunstar Heroes in a Mega Man X-like environment. Or I'll combine Super Mario Kart and Castlevania to make SUPER ALUCART!

Sonic the Hedgehog + Super Mario Brothers + Mortal Kombat. Any questions?

I'd combine some fighting game with Carmageddon. Just imagine two players in a very even and exciting match, then a car abrubtly arrives out of nowhere and kills both players by driving over them.

Japanese RPG + Tekken. That combination in fact makes so much sense that I really wonder why there aren't any (or more) of them. I have heard rumors of some RPG games where fights are done slightly Tekken-style, but it seems that those types of RPGs are a very small minority. Think about it: As you progress and get more exp, you can really feel it in the fights. You learn new abilities which you can use (as keypress combinations) and your hits get stronger. There could also be tournament mini-games which could be almost like playing Tekken, so in practice you basically get two game genres in one. One problem I find with the Tekken series is that they are too limited and too small. There's not enough variety, and the stories are really minimal. One small problem with (Japanese) RPGs is that the fights usually seem a bit abstract and detached. They are more like a turn-based board game than real fights (which in fact is the idea, but I think it gets a bit boring after a while). An RPG with Tekken-style fighting would solve both problems.

You could combine the Gradius and Gradius 3 in one videos. And there combining the shooter games.

Sounds a lot like Gunz.

No, no, no. The point is to combine two games that are different from each other, not sequels or same genres. I too really like the idea of Mario/GE, although if JFG had triple jumps, you'd pretty much have it.

God. No. There's enough fighting games, and they're all the same to me except for a small few, it's like I can't get into them, same with Metal Slug ANYTHING.

So... all the characters would basically play like Sabin from FF3? Or maybe more like Zell from FF8, in his limit break?

Star Control II and Solar Jetman. Two of my favourite games. I think they could even be merged rather nicely. The planet scavenging portion of SC2 would be where Solar Jetman fits in.

Actually, the first thing that I thought of was Shenmue with a more flexible combat system.
