I just ran a search on YouTube for "Mario Kart TAS" looking for individual tracks, and I found a very small number of videos. So I know that somebody is making what I am talking about ... Is there any good place to go for TAS videos of single Mario Kart tracks, or single levels of other games? Some day I'd LOVE to see TAS videos of katamari levels, but I have no idea how many years it will be before these are possible.

There are PS2 emulators out there, but they run slow as hell. Even when computers are fast enough to run them smoothly, they will have even bigger problems then the PS1 emulators, that the game ISOs will be large sized, making them a pain to download or store.

Yeah, I should wait until PS1-running is viable before I start talking about running PS2 games :S

Actually, PCSX2 being slow is not the problem, those who tas don't play at normal speed, and I think that recording can be slow as hell, as long as it is played back at the same speed. The only thing missing is compatibily and rerecording.

If some 16-bit console games still can't be emulated accurately, then I can only imagine that emulating something like PlayStation 2 or XBox won't be truly feasible (for all practical purposes) for a very long time. Regarding the MarioKart videos, are you sure that these are tool-assisted? Where did you see them?

I should have said "feasible" rather than "possible" in my first post :S http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=mario+kart+tas&search=Search I see at least three tool-assisted videos of different Mario Kart games.

Is there anyways to play a single-level of Star Fox 64 for the Score-Attack? You can try to get the highest score in normal from N64 Geocities High Score. That you'll do the entertaining.

Since, you'll do the single-level in Mario Kart 64 that you'll pick any course that you'll improve the Lap time and Total time. You'll test your skill to try to succeed the course in the better time. The Special Cup will appear when you complete the 100CC on both cups.
