I have a good Mac which I use to make movies. It is this computer I will use to make a "God Playing 2" movie. But, I have a problem. Whenever I download an AVI.TORRENT file off this site and open it with BitTorrent, the file loads normally. However, I can't see anything in the movies - just a white screen. I get a message saying I don't have the right QuickTime plugin. Does anyone know what I should download?

My best guess (admitedly, I know shit about things like this) is a better media player, or maybe some codecs for the one you're using now. If either of these things exist for macs, I have no idea.

OK, that works. Thanks a lot. EDIT: No, it doesn't work. I can run the movies in VLC, but when I try to use iMovie, the Mac video editor, the videos are still blank.

Can you open them in VirtualDubMod? You might need a codec pack or AviSynth for that. You could then save the videos in a different format. EDIT: Dunno though if these programs are available in Mac land. :/

Yeah, that's the price you pay for having a mac :/

I use RealPlayer to play .avi files. It worked for me. Of course, I'm using a PC, so I can't really comment on MACs. You should try it out though.

I found that codec, doesn't seem to work, I need either a new video editor or something that lets iMovie play videos from this site.

Have you consulted their website? I think you can also convert it from VLC into another format, look for "streaming" or smth. like that.
