Sorry if this issue was addressed elsewhere, but I'm having a problem with FCEU 0.98.15 Whenever I try to switch to fullscreen mode, i get an error "DirectDraw: Error creating secondary surface." It seems to happen 1n 16bit and 32bit color modes and regardless of what resolution I set it to. I'm using DirectX 9.0c on a winXP (32bit) machine with an AMD64x2 3800+

I get the same error. But full screen is not really needed since the default screen is already big if you maximize the window.

Still, It crashes the program, and I'd still prefer my fullscreen mode. Regardless, it seems to be a bug.

I've had some crashing problems in FCEU using certain fullscreen settings, as well. Looks like anything other than 320x240 fullscreen and the "centered" modes terminates the program, (24bit or otherwise,) probably because I have crappy hardware, old drivers and whatnot. If anyone's actively working on FCEU, they might want to throw a little more error checking into that part of the code. No big deal, really.

320x240?! Ouch! I don't think my screen even goes down that low. But I have a pretty high-end machine; I listed above that I have an AMD Athlon64x2 3800+, but I'll add that I also have 1GB of RAM and a GeForce 6600 GT. The drivers should also be current (at least as current as the latest version of FCEU). I know there are workarounds, but I'd still like to play in Fullscreen mode and it's still a bug that crashes the program.

Use the 0.98.16 version. It doesn't seem to crash the emu.
