Link: http://lineage2.plaync.jp/l2fun/flashGame.aspx Last night in IRC, we were having a good time trying to figure out how to beat this game. A lot of people played it at the same time and there was kind of a competition. So now I challenge you. Beat my time and post it here! Must complete the whole game, including getting into the spaceship. I do believe sub 20 is possible, but that would require insane precision and practice. http://img239.imageshack.us/img239/25/twentythreepk3.png (Note that this time was achived on my third playthrough, after the first one I aimed for time and ended up with this.)

Tompa has taken the lead! I didn't plan "at all", so I'm going for a sub 20 now:D.

The path is kind of hidden, but essentially the first staircase is at the top-left of the first floor. You get there by walking into the head til your character is no longer visible, then you walk one left and then up. If it doesn't work, try other directions. When you're up, go one square down, then all the way right, and one up again. Good luck.

A pretty funny thing happened when I beat this game for the first (and, so far, only) time. It was Thursday morning when I saw the link on IRC, and I started playing it. I had to go to a research lab for part of the day, so I just left the game on while I was away. When I finally beat it, my time was 7:45. Yes, that's 7 hours and 45 minutes.

Could it be time-related? Has anyone scored a five-header without finishing in twenty minutes? Likewise, has anyone beat twenty minutes without five heads?

That seems to be indeed the case. Looking at the actionscript bytecode, the thresholds seem to be as follows: default: 1 head < 10 hours: 2 heads < 6 hours: 3 heads < 2 hours: 4 heads < 21 minutes: 5 heads This also is probably signified by the decorations in the "congratulations" text.

I played it for a while but didn't have the patience to figure out how to use the magnets with the blocks the right way and gave up. Instead I spent most of the time ice skating.

Bisqwit has got the numbers right. The congratulations text changes when you get 5 heads.

It is rather trivial actually once you realize what the goal is, and what are the possible ways to make the goal reached. Theoretically, you can approach the treasure from the left, or from the right, or from the south. (Only one of those is possible in reality.) To be able to do so, you need to be able to stop in the right position so that you can slide towards the treasure. Stopping can only be done by bumping into something. Hope this helps.

Yay! I made it down to 17! :D. I wonder if 16 is possible, hmm. I wish to see the seconds as well.

I had to watch the walkthrough on youtube (search "dwarf lfun2") to solve the most difficult screens (51 min :/). as the author, the famous http://www.eyezmaze.com/ says, the game is not meant to be played alone since it's "middle-high level", but rather played within a community. if you're stuck, don't hesit to ask, we'd gladly help.

16 minutes is indeed possible. I made a mistake navigating through the room west of the ice room and thus hit a teleporter, so I'm surprised at my time.
