This is Rockman 3 beaten using Cheats and the 2nd controller in 6:59. Using the second controller makes the game a bit interesting when used in the right way. higher jumps, enemy slowdowns.
Uses FCEU .16, Aims for entertainment, Uses Cheats, Uses 2nd controller.
Thanks to Adelikat for a few key ideas with the run.

I watched this, then I watched it again alongside the currently published run to see just how different the cheats make it. I don't think the cheats offer enough new to merit a separate publication. I'm pretty familiar with this game and but I didn't find this movie particularly entertaining (from the cheat perspective, of course the play was great). All I really noticed different were the higher jumps and this is not enough imo.

Because someone didn't read the rule about "no cheats", and didn't understand that you should not use a password unless it's a proof of concept video, which this does not even claim to be.

I enjoyed it. I would've liked it more if you had shown off some of the features of the 2P debug controls, but it's fine as it is :) I don't see what all the whining is about, personally. All this uses is some code programmed into the ROM to change how it works (jump gravity, etc)... eh.

I thought it was already agreed on that a run using this cheat was not a good idea.

Voting no. Not because of the cheats -- I think use of this cheat could make for a quite entertaining playaround concept demo, but because the cheat weren't used with enough variety, and there was too much focus on getting through the levels quickly, when there should have been some jumping around and doing fun things. In short: Find ways to be more entertaining. Do them no matter how much time it takes. Then submit that.

I'm also voting no. The "cheat" (as you put it) isn't used enough to really make things entertaining. If it made a big difference that would be one thing, but it's not used very often at all.

I'll also have to vote no. While I would like to see a movie using those cheats, perhaps as a concept demo, I'd much rather see the full game, instead of just Wily's castle. There really wasn't much to the cheats, aside from having Megman jump higher. Also, what was the point of switching to Spark Shock at the end of Wily 4? It's true you use it on the next boss, but that's in Wily 5, and you only need to switch to it again when you start that stage.

At first I wondered about that and almost asked myself. But it's to avoid time having to collect all those weapons capsules, refilling Shadow Blade.
