No, I know what it means. In this case, instead of "DIRECTLY" saying that I am lying, you are making some detour to do so. That's hypocrite. You even posted in some other thread to insult me, like RBI game thread and some others. You are hypocrite.
Moozooh:
It's still weird why you take so much effort optimizing Zebes, but skipping Ceres completely. You probably realized that you wouldn't be able to match me there without being able to copy my values, so to hush up the truth you just skip it. I don't know when you will start your final run, (2009, 2010 maybe?) but until then you will have to face Ceres, no matter what, and then we will see how well you can truly do there. :-)
My goal is also easy: To make a unique run for you all to enjoy later.
JXQ:
I'm amazed you don't get it. Are you serious at all? Or do you want to say the values I posted there aren't true?
The difference is just that moozooh calculated his best values by just assuming they are reachable (you will see how reachable they truly are when moozooh shows you his WIP - provided that he can accept that he can't reach them but still shares the WIP of course), where I did it by watching my run and seeing the values in the emulator. This are facts, but of course it's up to you to believe it or not. I could show you the Torizo fight right now so you can see, but as said, I don't have to prove anything.
Now, I am starting donation to whoever beats all JXQ's run. I am starting with 100 US dollars. I will increase the amount by 20 dollars every month.
As for SMB3 warpless, I will give a bonus of $50 because it's longer to do.

Phil, this personal crusade against JXQ seems unwarranted. What did he ever do to you? Anyway, this is unrelated to the thread's topic, so please post it somewhere else.

From the dictionary comes love:
I feel #1 is a bit off for a TAS. The way I see it, by making a TAS you are showing just can what be done in said game with ultimate precision. You have importance for doing that, but I guess you should always expect there to be an improvement somewhere down the line. You should learn to accept this.
Hiding your work from everyone may make it a suprise for others, but it runs the risk of there being a shortcut you've overlooked or a comment on a certain part of the run that does not look right. Why hide your WIP if it could be improved?
Claiming perfection is just a mistake in TASing. Its been proven case after case that perfection is very hard to achieve and as such shouldn't really be claimed, even if you feel you are sure. I mean, if you absolutely must, at least say its 'close to perfection'.
Stopping your run because someone else has released one on the same game (hi Comicalflop) is particularly odd. In Comicalflop's case, its not even the same goals (any% vs 100%). Theres still tons to see that wouldn't be in the any% that will likely be very entertaining.
Of course #2 is fine. You should be proud of what you have achieved. You've contributed something for the greater good of the TASing community, after all.
Note: The above is my feelings on the subject and may be redundant as things have already been said by other people. I really don't care. De-rail and I shall remove your goodies.

Phil, the next time I obsolete one of my own runs, you can send that $100 to the dictionary fund. Win/win!
Also, if you need me to think of any more insults so that you can reuse them in a much dumber way against me, just ask.

Read earlier, Rbi Thread, his Bionic Commando, adelikat's dd2 submission threads and so on. He is my enemy.
No, it doesn't count. Your ugly nick must be removed.

I require both of your goodies via postal as soon as possible. I'll leave that open to interpretation, but be sure you label them clearly on the customs label. Thanks.

Phil, enemy? Aww, that's harsh. Just to show you I'm fair, I too will donate 100 dollars to anyone who obsoletes one of Phil's runs that has a rating of 8.0 or higher.
(Movies where he rode Genisto's coattails are not eligible for this prize)

You do realise that someone like me who has practically zero knowledge of SM isn't going to realize the significance of a four frame improvement on one jump or minor section.
How is that relevant? Also, since you couldn't know the tricks in questions, let me inform you that they look different, and the difference is visually noticeable. Also, if someone won't realize the frame-scale difference, does that mean everyone should produce suboptimal runs because of that?
Perhaps you didn't get the just of what I was trying to say, so I'll rephrase it for you.
Is it right to shove it in someones face that you improved a jump or a minor section by four frames in a relativley complex and long game?
I don't know about y'all but I'm having a blast!
"I'll give $100 to anyone willing to beat your next submitted run!"
"I know the proper definition of English words!"
"I'm not a selfish baby!"
Enough with the lies, Phil. Or as you probably call them, "hypocrisies" "hypocrites".

Alright, let me give you a brief summary.
During the last half a year, while Saturn was working on his version of any%, there have been two Super Metroid movies submitted. Both contained tricks not yet known by Saturn, both contained mistakes known by Saturn.
As a result, Saturn decided to start his movie over using the tricks from the published runs, but still didn't mention the improvements he knew in any way, other than "I managed to saved n frames by this point".
Of course, he did uncover some of the techniques he found, but still this was the recurrent theme of our relationships regarding Super Metroid (it was different with SMR).
So, regarding your question, consider the fact that I'm willing to show my WIP to any TASer that is going to or already have made a Super Metroid TAS, so the improvements I'm talking about are "physical", observable. Saturn's are only verbal, since he hasn't released anything aside the numbers.

JXQ:
I never said lies = hypocrite. And yes, a liar is usually an hypocrite.
hypocrite= A person who pretends to be good, pious or sympathetic without really being so.
So you are...
I don't know why your arguments are so narrowly JXQ based you aren't making sense to anyone but yourself.
LagDotCom tells me this is what you meant to say: "JXQ, why are you only focusing on one part of Phil's posts?" If this is correct, my reply is that I can only try to teach Phil the definition of a word so many times, and this was what the remainder of his post was about.
If this was not what you meant, perhaps you should try again, and I can reply at that time.

I will post the WIP which will confirm ALL values I mentioned before once the full run is done. Keep distrusting until then, JXQ and moozooh. :-)
Also moozooh, you didn't answer my question why you are afraid to work on Ceres having just the best opportunity in the test run. What is the reason to not analyze it for improvements like you do in Zebes? If you decided to ignore me all of a sudden, oh well. I'm just curious, you know.
