Post subject: Searching for specific stuff in a topic

Curently the search function only searches for topics on a given subject. Is it possible to search for specific things in each topic (for example, the OoT thread is so huge that it would take forever to find a specific trick just by browsing)

The "display results as posts" radio button is there for a reason.

Yeah, but then it brings up posts in all the topics in which that subject appears, which is annoying.

Well, there are also other search options there. It all depends on the search query.
