pacifist & non-assisted run Ninja Gaiden 2.
section pacifist.
it is a characteristic and handled skillfully movie.this is no killing enemies, no taking damage, no power-ups and no moving feet.

Truncated: A very similar movie has already been rejected once, #1423: Xipo's NES Ninja Ryukenden 2 in 12:10.35. Even though this is a bit faster, I see no reason to change the previous rejection.
Please do not use the submission list to advertise non-assisted runs.

- this site is for as perfect as possible movies only, and that's hard to do unassisted - no nestopia movies allowed on this site currently maybe you should submit it to www.speeddemosarchive.com (although they don't normally take emulator movies) ok, so this is a real TAS, and you just made a comment about unassisted style runs inside your submission form. try to make those comments on the off-topic or general forums, and use the submission description to describe the making of the movie instead.

They don't accept emulator movies over there. Can someone clarify this for me? This is an NSV movie renamed to FCM? Is it unassisted, but it still uses 47k rerecords?

SDA doesn't accept anything recorded on an emulator.

This run is fully assisted, using 47K rerecords to pull off a reasonably impressive run, both pacifist (except for bosses) and not taking damage. The unassisted thing is something else, and doesn't belong on this site.

Ok, a few things: The .FCM is not a pacifist run (im almost sure it kills things it doesnt have to), but that said it is a moderatly fast run of ninja gaiden 2. The version of the rom used matches the (u) version's checksum, so I can be sure there are no timing issues. the current published run is 9:14.32, the run uploaded here was (34199frames) 9:29.98. So until further notice, im thinking of voting "no"...

What's the deal with saying you don't get power ups when you obviously do? Plus, the bosses should have been killed a LOT quicker. Voting no. I can't believe no one else has voted yet.

I think he meant to say that he doesn't use any of the ninpo, not that he doesn't collect power-ups... I was able to watch the whole movie without being bored, and a few parts were interesting where some sneaky ninja moves had to be done to avoid getting hit. A few of the boss fights where you couldn't use that edge of the ledge quick strike trick dragged on irritatingly though. Also, why use the moonwalk the whole run? That started to annoy me fairly quickly. Meh vote from me. It's well done and all, but some things about it just really bugged me.

There's a lot of mistakes first boss can be killed before he touch a wall. Second boss entirely be faster if he climb with wall glitch instead of holding up. After all the movie is assissted run. It is impossible to do wall glitch with human skill that accurate.watch the input. Watch the entire movie input... all button where press at frame "IMPOSSIBLE". Rerecord was supposed to be 0 count if its non assissted.
