I've been trying to get video out of Gens for quite a while (with sound) but for some reason beyond my knowledge, the audio plays back at a different rate than the video so it slowly goes out of synch. I've tried using XVID and Windows Media Video 9 and they both do the same. I tried using ffdshow but it only records the first frame for some reason. Full Frames records audio and a black screen. I'm using version Z and I'm on Windows XP in case you were wanting to know. Does anybody have any ideas to help me on this? Edit: I've made a temporary solution of using windows media encoder, but i don't want to have to every time.

I've experienced the problem but for me it only seems to happen when playing back on windows media player, and other players play back fine. What players is it happening to you in? just WMP, or all of them?

I use Windows Media Player Classic (not WMP), I haven't tried others. I'll try in VLC once I make another video.
