this is one fast-paced simple-rules fun no-waiting game, does it have an ending of some sort? i think a run on the hardest difficulty might be something very impressive to see even if it's "timeattack to hit 999.999 points" or something. what do you think?

i read at gamefaqs that the game will go to level 255 and then flip the counter to 0, maybe a 999.999 score is the best try. i think it's gonna be nicer at the later levels because of the mad difficulty level.

yeah.. i played the original arcade version on the smash pack for dreamcast, and around wave 80 or so we were dying like 5 or 6 times per wave. There was simply no way to avoid it without superhuman reflexes....which we now have. I'd like to see a video of this as long as it wasn't some weak version of the game. I'd like to see the original..

Heh we got pretty good.... but unlimited continues was definitely used. I don't know how far I could get with 5 lives, probably about wave 8-10 sounds right. Once I came home too drunk and couldn't sleep, so I sat down and played through 100 waves of robotron! I stopped at 100 because i was going insane.
