The White House has recently revealed that President Bush was treated for Lyme disease in 2006. http://www.cnn.com/2007/POLITICS/08/08/bush.health/index.html I feel bad about not sending him a card sooner, but I want to encourage everyone to send him your best wishes. I put a lot of thought into the card I made for him, so feel free to send him the Get Well Soon card that I drew for him. I've created a web page with a link to the card and President Bush's email address at http://www.classicdosgames.com/special/getwell.html. Please personalize your email to express how you feel.

Do remember that this is not a USA-based board. I, for example, have no affection to your president whatsoever.* *) This of course does not mean that I hate him. It just means, I have nothing to do with him. 関係無い.

Actually, I'm from Canada, but I still think it's the polite thing to do. I put very special effort into the card, and I think most people will enjoy it.

I am American and have no affection for our current president. Though soon he will be out, and replaced with a different president who I will probably have no affection for (not being fond of either of the major parties in this nation).

I feel the same way as upthorn...I'm american, don't like Bush. Looking forward to his eventual replacement. Too bad it wasn't leprosy

1. Even if the White House receives the card, there's a 99% chance that his email filters will discard it as spam. 2. Lyme disease is nothing to be worried about 3. Bush with Lyme disease is especially nothing to be worried about, imo.

I think you guys haven't even looked at that Get Well card. Transparent hint: look at it.

Why does Lyme disease hate freedom?

I wonder if Bush's HMO considered Lyme disease a pre-existing condition and denied his claim .... :P

If he'd caught Lemon disease too, then he would've been in real trouble.

I decided not to have my link create a subject line so that they wouldn't filter by subject line after a few of them had been sent. But yes, if they got enough copies, they would probably consider it spam.

I couldn't help but laugh when I heard about it, mostly because of Ralph's classic Get Well card to Miss Hoover. I was hoping someone else would get a laugh out of it, too.

What is worse, completely lame sarcasm, or people don't getting it?

Get relapsed soon! There's a 3-word summary my feelings towards Bush. I laughed when I read Cheney became acting president while Bush had surgery. As opposed to behind-the-scenes president?

I thought it was mildly fun. And yeah, I don't understand how can people not understand it.
