Has anyone run this game? I remember competing for top score on level 1 for Nintendo Power years ago (I didn't get it). With non sequential missions and many items, it seems like this one would be a real challenge to TAS. Any thoughts?

I too attempted to get a really high high score on the first mission, but I never got much further than that. I don't know what stopped me, if I didn't understand the upcoming missions or if it was too hard back then. Anyway, I'd love a TAS of this game, it's highly underestimated!

I don't really see how this could make a good TAS other than accurate firing.

I had this for my mega drive (don't know if the versions differ at all). It was fun and I'd be interested in seeing a TAS mostly because I've played the game. However, it may not be very entertaining to those unfamiliar with it. You should make up a WIP and post it up here to give a better idea of TAS potential.

Accurate and optimized flight, fights, pickups, and mission clearances. Not saying it's a good idea, but you have a pretty narrow scope of the game.
