yep, I took it to the office so I can work with my coleagues, which means that at home I can only do what one can do on the wii: browse (and play :)- It means my forum activity will go down, I'll disappear from irc, and I won't be able to make a tas for a while, most likely more than a year. All in the name of trying my own business. wish me luck :)

There's an easy solution, actually: build a new PC from old scrap parts. You can get most of those for free (or at bargain prices at least), as you don't need a powerhouse to make TASes or chatting on IRC.

I know that here in Montreal, I can easily get a used computer for about 100$ + 30$ for a used screen so it should be possible to find a really cheap computer.

Well, if everything you need a PC for is posting here, ircing and making TASes, then a rather old PC would be enough for that. If you can find an old used PC somewhere which you can buy half-free...

newegg.com is teh awesome... search around for a while and you should be able to build yourself a complete machine for cheap, cheap money.
