As per topic, cant assign gamepad buttons to those functions that are normally assigned to keys (ie save state, pause etc?)?? Or am I missing something? (probably am) And yes, my gamepad has enough buttons for the functions I want to use. :)

I've been doing that. Works pretty good. Is there a solution/explanation, other than that workaround? JTK doesn't like my right stick any more than FCEU.

I've noticed that when TASing Gameboy-games or SNES-games, JoyToKey will only advance 1 frame if you hold down the frame advance button on your gamepad for a period of time, which is pretty annoying. JTK works just fine with FCEU, though. If you're using a Logitech-gamepad, perhaps you got a CD together with the gamepad (at least I did with my gamepad). That CD includes a program called "Logitech profiles" where you can assign keyboard buttons to gamepad buttons, as well as some other stuff too.

Aha! Yes, I forgot about the profiler- damn thing didn't work when I was on win9x. Thanks, Randil.
