"kuru" is the verb "come," not a negative but in "plain" form, like you would find in a dictionary (the "na" is, well, I can't explain it). I would translate that as "I'm coming," not "Don't come."

"kuru na" works. it's the verb "to come" plus "na" which basically means "don't" in this context.

It's my understanding that "na" "ne" and "yo" are untranslateable suffixes that have meaning, but I can't explain that meaning. So "kuruna" is, more or less, the same as "kuru." It is definitely not a negative, which would be "konai." "Konaide" makes it an imperative, I believe.

This would make me pretty certain that I'm right, if it wasn't for Boco being on the other side. :/ I don't think this is the same NA as in "Kuso, komatta na..." Perhaps this is what you two are thinking of?

OK, I get what you're saying. That's very harsh male language, though. You wouldn't use "boku" or "anata" with that kind of language at all. That's the kind of thing you'd hear in a fighting game, not really a horror game.. I was thinking female speech. It's easy to understand things when they're spoken or in context, but Japanese and English most definitely do not have a 1:1 correspondence. I still think of "kuru na" as "I'll be there" unless it's being shouted and part of a much longer statement.

Why did it say "hokage-sama" at around 6 minutes? :P I agree, it's really hilarious. I recognize most of those songs, although I only know the first one by name (Bohemian Rhapsody). Which is strange, because I don't listen to this kind of music.

Ha, that's pretty cool. Bohemium Rhapsody sounded cool, though the other ones were pretty bad. I couldn't figure out what the second song was >_< Why did it say "hokage-sama" at around 6 minutes? :P I don't know any Japanese, but that line in English is "And bad mistakes"

I understood it talked about bicycles, but I have never heard that song before - in any language.
