Post subject: one BIG oopsie in recording, PLEASE HELP

ok, so i got to the end of the game and right before i press the last button, i stopped the movie. IS THERE ANY WAY TO RESUME THIS SAME MOVIE and fix this small problem without having to start over or make a second file? please help! i was so close. im using FCEU btw.

i did. so do i just reload that state while the movies playing and it'll keep going and record that action as though nothing happened? im sorry bis, but i abolutely do NOT want to mess this up. STEPS (am i right?): -get to point i need to restart at in movie. -load state at appropriate time. -emulator continues recording movie and saves the new progress. right? im just being thurough. EDIT: it worked (thank god). im sorry for asking, but i needed to know the order of ops. actually, if id have read that all (instead of the first paragraph), i prolly wouldnt need to posted. still, its nice to have someone confirm it. SORRY.

If you're doubtful, you can make a backup of your movie before doing it.

Yes, you just reload the state while the movie's playing. If need be, you can make a savestate at the appropriate spot while the movie's playing, then stop the movie, then start it again and load the state. One who himself didn't realize this for awhile, Josh.

And make sure that you movie plays when you load or you'll be sorry. I know that for sure :P

Hmm? Is it only the case with Snex9x where if the movie ends before you load the state, you do not continue recording?

This is the case for all the emus. Well, I'm not sure about gens, but it's true for the other ones.
