I have quite a dilemma. I accedentelly started a run of Lady Sia on a rom called... Lady Sia (U) (M6) (o1) I know that overdumps aren't allowed, but the only other rom is a Europe rom, and for some unknown reason, Europe roms always screw up my computer. Don't ask me why it happens, cause I have no idea. I already finished the first level, but now I don't know if I'd be allowed to submit the run since it's an overdump. My question is that would it be okay to submit this? Because I'd have to quit the project otherwise, and I was really wanting to run this game.

There have only been a few couple of instances where overdumps or bad dumps have been accepted, and since you're just starting off with it, I'd suggest finding a good dump of the U version. I know if you look hard enough you'll probably find it.

It's also worth noting that these exceptions were made because of problems with the good dump rather than an inability to find it. Example There are probably others and different reasons but this is what springs to my mind. So even if you still can't find it that won't exempt you from the rule.

It's assumed that an overdump can probably be corrected with no ill effects by trimming the ROM and correcting the header data. Your milage may vary. I scourered the ROM set I have available, but there isnt any Lady Sia (U) ROM. Are you sure it was released in the US?

The no-intro set has the rom your looking for labeled as: Lady Sia (USA) (En,Fr,De,Es,It,Nl) I have said rom and can confirm it exists...that is if you are talking about the GBA.

You could try to search for "lady sia (u)" "lady sia (u).zip" "lady sia (u).gba" "lady sia (u) [!]" "lady sia (j)" [...] in google with patience and download everything you can get. Hopefully you can find it this way. Otherwise you should use the (E) ROM. But
Europe roms always screw up my computer.
How does it srew up? Did you set your VBA to PAL? ... Maybe you should consider trying different VBA versions.

To the extent of my memory, VBA does not have a PAL/NTSC mode (because GBA frame rates were always 60) Which makes the errors even more remarkable.

I didn't know that any GBA ROMs even had any overdumped versions. At any rate, Lady Sia (U) (M6) [o1] (ROM number 142) seem to be the only one in existence. The (E) version of the ROM works fine for me though

GoodGBA3.12 has
 Lady Sia (U) (M6) [!].gba
listed, along with two translations and an overdump for the U version. I think Pekopon already found it though.

Yes, I found it, but it was bloody hard. and incedentely, Lady Sia was a game only released in the states and europe. There was no Japan version. Sort of like how there was no "Nester's Funky Bowling", "Water World", and "3D Tetris" for the Virtual Boy in Japan. Nester was the Nintendo Power Mascot, so there wouldn't be a Japan version of it. I think you can still view the WIP on the overdump though.

There's also this program called GBA Tool Advance, which has a "Fix Overdump" tool. With it you can turn your "Lady Sia (U) (M6) (o1).gba" rom into a working "Lady Sia (U) (M6) [!].gba" rom in a few seconds.
You're just fucking stupid, everyone hates you, sorry to tell you the truth. no one likes you, you're someone pretentious and TASes only to be on speed game, but don't have any hope, you won't get there.
