There's Youtube of course, but Youtube has 10 minute limits. And Google Videos, but I'm not familiar with their terms of service, and whether they can be embedded.
YouTube 10 min limit only applies to people without directors accounts. The only limit that universally applies to everyone is the 100mb upload. Although this is still very restrictive when it comes to showing longer movie which require relatively high bit rates i.e. N64 games.

Incorrect. It applies to everyone.

You can no longer upload videos longer than ten minutes regardless of what type of account you have. Users who had previously been allowed to upload longer content still retain this ability, so you may occasionally see videos that are longer than ten minutes.

If that true then, explain how I was able to upload the recent TAS I did, where the video length exceeds 10 mins.

Maybe because you had a directors account before they instituted the limit? It does say that those with uploading privileges with more than 10 min. before the limiting would retain those rights. If you just signed up though, I have no idea.

If you want to show ignorance, at least do so without quoting the very information that gives an answer to your question. :) (Marked in bold)

Bisqwit, you are the one who missed the point. Mainly the part which you just bolded. Your statement was based on a semi-truth i.e. the non bolded part you quoted. Since you spefically stated

True, that statement was incorrect. It does not literally apply to everyone; just everyone who wants to create an account. I posted that knowingly that it contains a not-whole truth, hoping that nobody will nitpick on it, especially as the whole truth was posted right below it. However, the question that you asked in your reply was "explain <this>", and the explanation to that was immediately on the line above in the very quote, demonstrating ignorance. As you know, replies are usually associated with the context immediately above, so your post was like "<quote>I like nothing but fish. And also chicken sometimes.</quote> Oh, you don't like chicken?", i.e. stupid.

That post had me, my roommate, and an IRC channel in help-I-can't-breathe-I'm-laughing-too-hard...ness. JXQ, I love you.

I don't think "optionality" is some mocking subject though. It's a word I would use myself, for describing the possibility of something being optional. EDIT: Also, moved these posts into a separate thread and locked them, because as JXQ well knows, mocking posts are not quite welcome here.
