I made a test run last summer, now I am finally uploading it. The ROM is Animorphs (U) [!]. Yay clicky! The reason this game is interesting is that unlike other RPGs, for example Pokemon, text doesn't scroll. It just appears. This means attack menus can be scrolled through at breakneck speed, meaning even long boss fights last just seconds. Also, this lends a degree of leniency to the idea of beating bosses with pathetically weak teams. As it says in the description, improveable by anywhere from 15 seconds to 1 minute. Much of this would come from better fighting (and more luck manipulation), but also from some overworld moving strategies like morphing in fights as opposed to in the menu.

It looks like your going out of the way to grab animal morphs, which is for the boss fight? The gorilla is the most powerful, (I think), so shouldnt you just get that one? Another thing, does the blueness mean anything? or is it sort of like a shiny? Also, you waited for a animal to move, and then ran into it.
Renting this space for rent. Trying to fix image on this site. Please cut slack. As of April 6th, 2012: After a long absence, here we go again?

Grabbing animal morphs is necessary to beat bosses. Luck-manipulation can only be done by changing when fights start, and it would entail a lot of waiting to beat the bosses with weaker animals. The gorilla is not most powerful. Which is the most powerful changes, but something with 2 attacks or more is best. When a fight starts, there is a predetermined order of which attacks will hit or not, and with a 2-attack animal (like the lion or shark), one can alternate between attacks for maximum damage. The monkey is blue because it looks so much like gorillas and chimpanzees, so it's just a distinction. Waiting for an animal to move is just luck-manipulation for either the fight or to be able to run away faster if the fight cannot be avoided.
