I'm sorry if you've already specified this somewhere, but would it be possible to add memory watching capabilities for all memory banks instead of just 7E and 7F? Also, would it be possible to give the option to display the memory values as signed integers? In Yoshi's Island, the address for Yoshi's current speed is only in bank 00-3F (at $60A8) and I couldn't find a mirror of it anywhere in 7E/7F. I think the Super FX wram is mirrored in $6000-$7FFF, which is where the speed is stored. Cumulative damage for bosses is also stored in $6000-$7FFF, which is especially helpful for killing Prince Froggy in 6 hits. I ask about displaying signed integers because in YI when moving to the left the speed is stored as a signed integer. A speed of 64 to the left would be 65471 unsigned, so it would be more practical to see -64 (where the - means you're moving to the left) and "increases" as you gain speed (ie. -65 is faster than -64). Thanks.

Can I conclude from this that you are continuing your 100% run? [/off-topic]

Is there a Auto-hold and remove Auto-hold feature, becuase it doesn't seem to be available, I'm using the emulator that Comicalflop used for his DK2 102% run, which was a modified version with a soft reset.

spezzafer: Signed integer display is something that's been fixed in a later version. Sometime I'd like to transfer fixes like that back into this version, almost everything except changes to the emulation/timing. I don't know about mapping the other banks but it doesn't sound hard to do... I can't work on it now, but I brought it up on the snes9x board.

is there a way you could add a custom key entry for "quit", like to exit the emulator?

I know that now. :/ That post was before the "Brainstorming for new emulator movie format" thread.

It has been a while since I've asked for this, but could command line movie playing support be added to the Windows version of SNES9x? I would love to add SNES as a supported format in http://red-stars.net/content/Emulator_Movie_Front

i'm having a huge problem with this emulator. It's constantly going like 100 mph. I can't control the speed using "-" or "+", it does NOTHING. I've tried getting the emulator again, and a fresh batch of roms, but everytime it just goes superfast when I load it up. the "tab" key, which is my fast forward doesn't slow it down when I deactivate it either. help please.

Why my emulator has so bad graphics ? When I use Improvement10, the graphics are really bad... But when I use Improvement7, the graphics are very nice... How can I fix this ? I'm using the same configuration for both emulators...

Could you explain more carefully, how are the graphics bad and so on? Posting screenshots would probably help.

I can't tell you why it's happening, but I7 has some kind of filtering enabled. Try some of the Output Image Processing options with I10 and see if they give you the softer look you prefer. The I10 image is actually much more faithful to a true SNES, though.

Hi there, How do you turn off the display of the frames being played when watching a movie? I presumed it was the text in image option in display but its not doing anything in beta 15? Or have I missed something? Thanks

Question: How do you stop a movie so that you can resume later at that point? Like, I want to watch this long (about 6 hours!) SNES9x movie, but I don't think I can stand to watch it all at once; I want to be able to watch about 2 hours of it, "pause" it, close out of SNES9x, then the next day watch some more of the movie. Is that possible? Am I making any sense? Is the way you do it something like save-stating at the point you want to say "Let's call it a day," then playing the movie again and reloading that state after you start once you're ready to continue? Thank you in advance.

Exactly. Just don't forget to load the movie before you load the state the next day.

Thank you! Yeah, I think what happened was I accidentally did that procedure backwards...I figured I should try it that way, but I wanted to check and see if I was completely off base in the first place beforehand.
