Go to options, then to settings, then to hotkeys. You can assign any hotkeys you like to speed up and speed down there. Btw, why is this question in the Snes9x forum?

Because it's a question about Snes9x : P Thanks for answering so fast, but I've tried that. I can't find the hotkey settings. What's wrong? I have Snes9x 1.43, downloaded from the official site.

Your question was about Mupen 64, not Snes9x... Either way, if you want the Snes9x that is able to play back the movies from this site (this version also has slowdown)... you can get it here.

For Snes9x, go to "input", then "customize hotkeys", there you should be able to assign any keys you want to speed up and speed down. I still recommend using the snes9x version I linked in my post though.
