I was advised to share a song I wrote,,, here it is. http://www.geocities.com/jackimus_wedge/ArmageddonTonight.mid
It would be cool to hear this as an mp3, played with a decent soundbank (I don't have any).

Wow! Having played in symphonic band for 7 years (and still playing), I gotta say that is one of the best midis I've ever heard, Rising Tempest. I especially liked the combination of piano and strings in some parts. You did an awesome job! *saves*

The first instrument I officially learned to play was the trumpet back in 1991. I played the trumpet for about 6 years and decided to move on to playing a basic 5 piece drum kit. Throughout high school I messed around with all sorts of instruments and eventually discovered Fruity Loops and since then I have primarily been working with FL. I enjoy most styles of music and try not to stick to one thing. Lately I have been making mash ups of shitty popular music and posting them on www.myspace.com/phunqsauce . I also have been doing a lot of lo-fi jam sessions with a friend of mine where I play the synthesizer and he plays guitar. I would try to explain how it sounds but I don't think there are appropriate words to do so...
I like stuff...

It doesn't really get more random than this. Basically just been testing different things I like the sound of. Almost think I could/should make a full real track of something soon, but just never feel there's time... Having to get everything working again after every reformat doesn't help either, really should get a secondary computer. "Laughing Strictly Prohibited" is pretty much the second thing I ever did and a self-lesson in FLStudio. Times before panning and making sure levels weren't clipping... Still a kind of fun track of I-have-no-idea-genre (I call everything like this techno but I'm sure that would offend some one). As random as everything else. "Destination Destroyed" (not the shorter discontinued version) is probably the most serious thing I've been toying with and a really good way deeper self-lesson in FL, but never got around finishing it. Was kind of downy when starting it and feel I can't really continue in the same vein anymore. Also it was supposed to be a remix/reinterpretation of a Journey to Silius track, but it's really, really hard to hear the source anywhere. Unless you literally play both at once which gives a fun effect (they're the same BPM so it's no problem). Nice midi Rising Tempest, and I agree with Warp that it'd be really cool hearing it with a sound upgrade!

I don't play an instrument, but I've done some MIDI tracks. Only two of them are published yet, though; they can be found in the Doom II level pack Community Chest 3 (requires an enhanced, Boom-compatible engine) as the BGM of levels 15 and 27 (both of which I designed.) The first is "Liberty Through Violence" (done in three days) and the second is "Inferno's March" (which I did earlier, in one day.) They're actually the fourth and third (respectively) MIDIs I've done, so... Heh. I need to update my website soon, and I'll put my MIDIs up when I do.

I used to play the oboe, but my psychotic band teacher basically frightened me away from it. Nowadays, the extent of my ability is playing the Tetris theme on piano.
