it was like a japanese cartoon / action (i remember its just for 1 player)
the main caracter has big hair in the that cover just one eye, and he has a partner, his partner is a monter looking like an eye, very small
one stage i remember he was flying on a magic carpet

No, I think I know the game he's talking about, but I can't think of the name of it, either. I just remember seeing the ads many years ago. Something about using your friends (in reference to the monster). If I remember correctly, the name made me think of Bubble Bobble, but I don't recall why.

I know it can't be Adventures of Batman & Robin, Adventures of Rocky & Bullwinkle, or Adventures of Tintin. And going by your description, I doubt it's Adventures of Dr. Franken. There aren't any other games for SNES that start with 'Adventure', barring unforeseen pirate software.

Looking this up on Wikipedia, the only game based on this series is for the PS1 in 2003, although it's clearly an exact match in terms of the drawing and general description.
Wow, I'm a blind idiot. In my defense, I didn't find the game written under Wikipedia's list of Super Famicom games, and hence, wrongly assumed no game was produced for the system.
