Yeah, archive.org has been a host for SDA for quite some time now. Edit: Since 2004.05.07 for people who likes dates.

If someone wants to become a manager to upload our movies to the SpeedRun section of archive.org, it'd be great. Links to archive.org could be added to the movie pages. I think I can do that. But I don't like this rule. Also, make sure that each file in the directory starts with the same name as the directory (e.g. if your directory is named movie1, make sure the files are called movie1.mpg, movie1.asf, or movie1_256kb.mov). Because of that, it will be more complicated to manage.

While we're on the subject, I added the Archive's game videos RSS feed to my personalized Google page, meaning whenever I search for something, I'll see the last three uploaded files in that category. :)

Sorry for the double post but I just wanted to let you all know that maybe (Im being real) I will change my current internet connection (8mbit download speed/1mbit upload speed) to 100mbite download speed and 100mbite upload speed in late january or februari, depending on bureaucracy. Hope it turns out well in jan/feb.

I'd be gladly willing to help out upload to Archive.org. I've got a number of the videos and trying to get a complete "what's currently up" collection. Here's my system status: Game Boy (Color) - Complete Set Game Boy Advance - 4/6 Hacked/Demos - Complete Set Nintendo 64 - Complete Set (Like that wasn't hard) Sega Genesis - 12/36 (There are technically 37 games, but Gunstar Hereos doesn't count since there's no AVI) Super NES - 34/58 - I figure like 10 of what I'm missing are already on Archive.org NES - 73/174 (This doesn't count 4 FMV-only videos) If anybody wants to help me get ready by seeding stuff I'm missing, appreciative. I'm working on filling in the SNES gaps now. I was thinking about this idea the other day and would like to help make it happen.
