This movie is a full run-through of Super Mario Bros., using no warps.

  • Abuses programming errors in the game
It's better and faster then my first one: [1106] NES Super Mario Bros. "warpless" by HappyLee in 18:49.65
It brings more skills for Super Mario Bros players,specially the skill in 3-2.
Most of it is the same as my first one,I just did a little change.
Here are the differents:
Unfortunately,the skill in 3-2 and 7-1 can't save any time.

The changes in 3-2 and 7-1 are nice. Overall, I find the run entertaining to watch. Any improvements to the SMB series are welcomed. Yes vote!

Have you really never played this game? The underwater pits actually suck you dowards towards their center so you go slower for a bit once you are past the halfway point of the pit Anyway, voted yes for awesome tricks.

I'm voting no on this since the stylistic choices drove me even more mad compared to the current (soon to be obseleted) run. It just get irritating listening to that constant jumping sound effect over and over again. I'd rather just hear the music in the background. On the upside I did like the new tricks in the movie, especially the one where you use a turtle bounce to glitch below the ground.

Yes. Looks very optimal and well-made. Although i'm not too famaliar with this game, I can see how you did the fastest possible routes in the levels. Overall, the game can only be SO entertaining. It's kind of in the same boat as the Pokemon TAS'es. But, you did a good job working with what you had to make it as entertaining and optimal as possible so if that doesn't deserve a yes then I don't know what does.

I don't understand 3–2. How can that be fast, you spend so much time setting up this trick? The delay done there looks greater than the 21-frame rule and anything needed to avoid fireworks, either.

Well, it does skip the whole flag animation and walking into the castle, no idea how many frames that is but I guess he timed it.

Are you saying that it is impossible to jump into the foot of the flagpole in 3–2 the way it was done in most other levels?

No,no,he means I saved time on that skill in 3-2,because I skip under the ground and don't have to walk into the castle.Also I am showing that skill can be true. Oh,no,my bad English...

Yes vote. It seems that the real improvements were from the Bullet Bill Glitch in 8-2. It saved 42 frames due to about the 6 frames shorter slowing-down after you jumped over the large pit as well as the 14 frames faster Bullet Bill manipulation, as 20 frames faster in total to break the 21-frame-barrier, though 18 frames would be already sufficient as had been discussed.

Very well done! You gave me a few more ideas that I want to test now. I've been meaning to test a few things anyway. I really liked 3-2, I didn't realize that the bullet-bill flagpole glitch doesn't need to have an enemy involved to work :) I still am going to call it the bullet bill flagpole glitch though. EDIT: suggestion: try using the flying fish in level 2-3 to do what you did in 3-2.
