Part 18 in my Let's Watch / Link's Awakening series is done. You can view the full series of the videos as well. It's different from a typical Let's Play in that it isn't realtime voice commentary, but post-recording annotation commentary, hence the name change. It also focuses a lot on bad jokes and interesting details about the game itself and some of its inner workings.

So it does. Thanks, fixed :) I've had a few weird errors like that; one of them was missing a character in the link, another one wasn't actually changed to have a link, some other things.

Things like this are what made Square One absolutely ace.

Last night, I was on IRC and miipasu was talking about shock sites like she always does, then I remembered THIS. I played pranks like that on 2 friends some time ago, and it was awesome...
"Genuine self-esteem, however, consists not of causeless feelings, but of certain knowledge about yourself. It rests on the conviction that you — by your choices, effort and actions — have made yourself into the kind of person able to deal with reality. It is the conviction — based on the evidence of your own volitional functioning — that you are fundamentally able to succeed in life and, therefore, are deserving of that success." - Onkar Ghate

Speaking about handheld-synthesized music... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RhCJq7EAJJA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kfrONZjakRY I don't usually laugh literally out loud with any video, but with this one I just couldn't resist (watch to the end): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YK0l61SM6YM

SMB1 with a jetpack. Kind of. YouTube demonstration of an older version: Disable movement, forbid jumping, and add in your own physics SMB Jetpack Lua script x_functions library pack if you still don't have it Yeah. Basically, A accelerates upwards using fuel, left and right accellerate in those directions for free, and B + L/R accelerates faster (but uses fuel). Fuel recharges while you aren't boosting/jumping. It's to "help" prevent you from just flying over levels. Though if you're invincible, well, you have infinite fuel until it ends :) If you get stuck, you have to reset. I haven't added in a "kill switch" yet.

Ever been to a noise club? I went to one when I was in Germany one and a half week ago. Saw these DJ:s and managed to find them on youtube as well. :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SVh7EZGjplY It was a new experience for me, with a smile from ear to ear.

That's begging to be assisted by tools :P
There's no point in that, it has a built in tracker already with 16 patterns, all you need to do is know how to compose and you can do anything. I have no musical training at all, but the moment I touched this piece of software I had no idea what was coming. The sound quality is incredible and loving techno music as much as I do, I couldn't put it down for 3 hours straight. Still pick it up from time to time to play around.
