Hey, I downloaded and setup fceux 2.0.3. I seems like it runs fine when I first turn it on, but then, especially after I start to record a avi video it start to goes slow. I know this can happen when recording in some codecs. But I don't understand it this time, because when I play and record videos on my 5 year old XP computer using the avizlib codec, I see no slowdowns, it records and goes at the same great speed. Now I'm using a Vista Premium Laptop (3Gigs Ram/Dual Core 1.9Ghz) and it slows down. Is this something with Vista, or something else? Does anyone know what I can do or try? Thanks.

not sure. what kind of Vista laptop do you use? list name brand & model. try disabling & closing programs and services that interfere with FCEUX and turn off your internet connection if you have a wireless internet enabled.

Is your power cable plugged in when you do this? Most modern laptops have a variable clock speed when they run on battery and it sounds to me like that is the issue right now.
