Have you ever wondered what would happen if Dr. Wily just sent all of his robots after Mega Man at once? Well, wonder no more! http://sapporo.cool.ne.jp/kuniokun/Rockman2Neta.zip Note: It's hard, but it definitely can be done. It took me about 15 tries and an E-Tank, but I eventually did it! Also, sorry if this is old news, etc.

I saw a video on youtube. I wonder, is it just the bosses fight, or do you also have to play a level? I would like to see a TAS dodging all the attacks & beating all 8 robots :)

I smell a clusterfuck! I'm gonna try this when I get home. This sounds really interesting.

For me, when it gets to "press any key", only ESC and F1 work. No key will start the game.

By default, the buttons are set to horrible and completely unintuitive places in the keyboard. All buttons are set to letter keys; I don't remember exactly which ones right now, though. I recommend changing the keys to more comfortable choices in the options menu before starting the game. Fortunately, keys are fully configurable in this game.

I thought this thread was going to be about one of those play-multiple-games-with-the-same-input TASes. Actually makes me wonder whether all 8 bosses in Mega Man 2 could be fought with the same input without dying. That would be nuts.

I found the best sequence to work for me was - Flash man freeze, to take off half of quickman's health - walk to the right right, for next step while frozen Crash bombs on left wall to kill Quickman and Flashman Air finishes off Crashman quick Switch to metal blade, and kill bubble man by firing directly up. By this time, Air man will jump to you, use leafshield while standing behind him. Kill Woodman and Metal man with Metal Blade Finish off heatman with bubbles. Victory!

I couldn't get anywhere close to beating them all, but I found out that if you take the left exit at the start and follow the path there you can fight all the bosses in Bubbleman's arena.

For those of you having problems beating the game, just die several times. Usually, at the Game Over screen, Dr. Light unlocks something for you, like E-Tanks. Once unlocked, you have to go to the game's setup option in order to enable the E-Tanks. First you only get to use one, but you can earn more just by playing long enough.

They went through the trouble to duplicate the animation and AI for the enemies at a credible resemblance, but still failed to duplicate Megaman's jumpcurves and walking speed? It _always_ strikes my eye and bothers me when a supposed clone games fails to duplicate the jumpcurves and walking speed properly. For example, in the numerous "Super Mario Bros. 5" pirate games etc.

Have you tried that NES-style clone of RockMan 7, Bisqwit? I'd like to know how accurate you think its physics were.
