My setup has changed slightly since the last time I posted a picture, so I thought I'd post some new ones. All of the below are pretty much identical, except each one shows one of three wallpaper sets I use. Enjoy. WARNING: VERY large (dimensions) files below. We're talking 4384x1050. Kirby Fortress 2/The Man Who Can/Pandaren Samus Set Portal Set png files of the above are available also in the same web folder.

Perhaps I'll contribute to this too. Actually I already wasted a few minutes thinking how to set up the screenshot, so here it goes. http://turambar.org/fileet/for_tasvideos.jpg Jpg compression really messed up some colours in the transparent windows, but whatever.

My roomies and I all use Winamp. In fact, my desktop still has an installation of Winamp 3, purely because I vastly prefer 3's multi-playlist handling over 5's, and it's something of a necessity with over 300 GB of music. I only wish they had kept working on 3 long enough to iron out the more critical bugs before abandoning it entirely. For everything else, though, I use Winamp 5. Even in my car.
Kirby said so, so it must be true. ( >'.')>

I use 5 for most stuff, but I still have a copy of 2 because some of my plugins aren't compatible with anything newer.

Unless it's an MKV file, I use Winamp for watching all of my movie files. I only use VLC if it's an MKV, or I just encode MKVs and watch them in my PSP. Anyway, my desktop at the moment! It's of that same character that's in my avatar, drawn to be suited more for the Mega Man Zero series here than the X series. I didn't draw it, a friend of mine did: http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h59/rickcressen/currentdesktop-3.jpg

You're just fucking stupid, everyone hates you, sorry to tell you the truth. no one likes you, you're someone pretentious and TASes only to be on speed game, but don't have any hope, you won't get there.

You get used to it after a while. I have used worse in the past.

Gah, that'd really hurt my head. Except that I never actually look at my desktop these days. Here's what it looks like, but this is what I'm normally working with.

Another desktop. Sort of. There isn't actually anything ON the desktop. I eschew mousing, so there are no icons. The start menu is likewise hidden. Everything is handled through an elaborate system of AutoHotkey macros and Bash scripts. Livin' the dream, friends. Livin' the dream.

Good mercy, Ferret, what the hell is that? Have epileptics tried to steal your computer in the past and this is your security measure against them? :P

You have to admit, it makes for a great conversation piece. ;P This little animation that I threw together a while ago also makes for a fun background. In fact, I've decided to switch over to using it again for the time being.

My Desktop I used to change them around quite a bit, but I settled with this over a year ago. It's nice and tranquil, and helps relieve stress during long TASing sessions ;-)
