Post subject: Recording Problem

Some movies record fine while others record either popups a message saying error with a choice of close the program or close the program and report the problem; shuts down or i record all the way through and the end credits but yet on the finished avi it does not show all of it usually the final scene and end credits as if i stop recording early but did not A windows vista problem or gens emulator?

Could you list that out in more detail? Like which emulator version are you using, which codec are you using, how big is the AVI getting, did you configure a split size, are you doing anything different when it works than when it doesn't work, what do you do at the end to stop recording, etc.

Version 2.11 Tools AVI Options Start AVI dump / Stop AVI dump codec: unsure nothing different, did not change settings from default; plently of room on my hard drive and don't have anything else running as it records

Try getting Gens11a, it could be a bug in Gens that's fixed in that version.
