This has always bothered me - The search options when searching the forum are: - Search topic title and message text - Search message text only Why is there no option to search topic title only? This could possibly relieve some of the newbie - "I can't find the thread!" problems.
Sage advice from a friend of Jim: So put your tinfoil hat back in the closet, open your eyes to the truth, and realize that the government is in fact causing austismal cancer with it's 9/11 fluoride vaccinations of your water supply.

Because it's phpBB 2.x. No search in particular thread, either.

For the record, I use http://tasvideos.org/Search.html for searching the forums, rather than the phpBB feature. Wrote it myself, but still like it better.

I just tried that search feature a few times and got no results at all, even when searching for something that I was sure would produce results (Metroid). This happened in Firefox, IE, and Opera. Maybe there's a problem because of the site move?

Searching "metroid" with that tool works for me. Did you perhaps misspell it?

http://tasvideos.org/Search.html?key=Metroid&subs=1 It doesn't work for me, I'm using Google Chrome. I get no result. In fact, I'm not even sure it works, it just seems to reload the same page. EDIT : doesn't work in IE too

Works for me. Might be some kind of crazy cache/PEBKAC thing

I've tried the search on three different days, and it's not doing anything for me, either. JS and cookies are enabled for this domain. I'm using Conkeror, which is basically Firefox. (But more l33t.) I am quite stumped.

I have no cache with Google Chrome, and cookies and javascript are enabled too. Still doesn't work. Not at job, and not at home.

You need to be logged in work it to work. I've told Nach about this, he'll fix it some time soon.
