CV Aria of Sorrow Boss rush... well.. my first "half-tas" :P this is my boss rush of castlevania aria of sorrow for gba system the only way to make a boss rush is via reset/SRAM :P
  • no slowdowns
  • no switching souls or equips during rush (only at the start :P)

mmbossman: Submissions aiming for speed must beat all existing records, which this does not do. Rejecting.

I don't know if this will be accepted or not, I will let fate decide. Anyways, I might watch it when I'm out of work.

It's slower than the unassisted run:

Accepted? An exception to be accepted? An accepted exception? I'm confused.

definite No. it's 15 seconds slower than the unassisted record, and it's sloppy all around. you even had to switch to Lubicant at the beginning of the run; that's something that should've been taken care of ahead of time.

http://speeddemosarchive.com/CastlevaniaAoS.html#bossrush Menu manipulation sucks, battles are slow, and you're bested by a non-TAS run. Big fat no to this run.

Of course, by TASVideos timing standards it'd be about a minute and a half long (counting time since power-on and time spent in menus). Still markedly faster than this run.

My TASed AoS boss rush was in less than 42 seconds (in game), if I recall correctly.
<klmz> it reminds me of that people used to keep quoting adelikat's IRC statements in the old good days <adelikat> no doubt <adelikat> klmz, they still do
