Would it be possible to TAS 2 Pokemon games at once? Probably use the Japanese Blue Version and the Japanese Yellow Version both using the same input. Kinda like what we done with the Mega Man games.

Really? You think two slightly different versions of the same game would be an interesting watch together?

Instead of some simoultanously TAS's of the old Pokemons i would instead welcome a 100% Run of one of it. I think THIS would be awesome to watch. But i must agree Bag of Magic Food. I don't think this would be interesting...

What about this: Red/Blue dual run with link cable. At name selection, both press down once, select Red/Blue as name. This will let red jump slightly ahead a few frames, desyncing the two. Red picks Charmander, Blue picks Squirtle Each game will complete different things at same time, and they can trade Pokemon to make parts easier. (One travels while other battles with best/most useful Pokemon) Of course, link cable is not supported anyway, I looked at doing this myself a while ago. And no link cable takes away a lot of the fun.

Well, if link cable movies did work, it wouldn't have to be a "same input for different games" run. You could make a normal 3-player run with the different versions to complete the Pokedex up to 150 without glitches. I still don't think it would be terribly interesting, and you would either hear the audio from 3 games mashed together or have 2 of them silenced.

Actually it COULD be interesting to watch a run like this. Im just curious how fast you can get all 150, especially without glitching. I would watch it ^_^ EDIT: And an easy solution of the mashed up music would be to mute all three and play other favourite music ;)

I'd pay to see 5 or 6 games simultaneously played to get all 250 pokemon from the GSC series with the help of all of gold, silver, crystal, red, blue and yellow.
Measure once. Cut twice.

Yeah, doing the Mew glitch on Red/Green/Blue/Yellow and the Celebi egg trick on Gold/Silver/Crystal would make it 151 and 251 respectively.

http://www.vbalink.info/ VBALink supports up to 4 systems. I wonder how hard/easy it would be to TAS-modify it.

If I remember correctly, the Mew glitch and the Celebi egg trick can get all 151/251 Pokemon using only a single game.

Right, that's why I thought that the only point of using multiple players and games was to do it glitchlessly.

Yeah, but the novelty factor of playing two games simultainiously never wears off.
