Intel Core2Quad Q9450 @ 3.7GHz (stock 2.66GHz) 8GB DDR2 1066 Ram Ati Radeon 4870HD Vista 64bit :[ It drops to around 50 on fountain of dreams but 60 everywhere else. I am not willing to push my overclock any farther than it is currently. I'm using all the default plugins currently. Not sure if it'd go faster with others.

I don't know about the FPS, but I would strongly suggest that you buy anywhere but at Best Buy. I would shop anywhere where they know something about a computer. The guys at best buy are not specialist, they are regular people with a very very very [...] very limited knowledge on computers.

Not to mentioned things there are generally overpriced. If you're in the US and know how (or know somebody who does) to build a computer, do so. Yes, there's even barebone laptops out there that people can use to build their own PCs. If you're looking to buy, the HP Pavilion dx6 is a very good laptop. Or look in the same series for even more powerful ones.

I know that TigerDirect have some pretty good deals, I never buy from that, but my company has, and the price a pretty nice.

Ok, thanks i decided i'll wait another few months. Save some more money and the price will probably go down. Also i'll get to see if this emulator goes any where.

On the games I have that run, I pretty much get a solid 60 fps across the board. Twilight Princess dips down in large areas, and probably some smaller hiccups in other areas, but that's about it. For what it's worth, the 64-bit version makes a tremendous difference (5 fps in 32, 60+ in 64) in Twilight Princess, and really only a small difference in everything else so far.
Kirby said so, so it must be true. ( >'.')>

Yeah, the longer you wait the better deal you'll get. For the moment, it seems that the hardware are stuck and doesn't seems to move a lot. I know that the big deal that are coming soon are the SSD hard drive. Which seems to gives a real boost to the computer speed. Hard drive are underestimate at how it can speed up a computer and it's by far the biggest bottleneck of a computer.

I just upgraded my computer, and nothing really runs good for me on Dolphin. I think the emulator just needs some better Video plugins. Although, finding such things is easier said than done. Edit: Well, I just payed attention to my FPS on PCSX2, and both PCSX2 and Dolphin run at about 38-50 FPS with any game. Dolphin says it emulates Mario Kart Double Dash perfectly, but it doesn't. That one ranges about the same. And I know for a fact that my computer should be able to easily run PS2 and GC Games, since it can run Borderlands with no problems.

AMD Athlon 7750 Dual Core Processor. 2.71GHz, 2.00GB RAM. Last game I tried was Mario Kart Double Dash which should have run fine at full speed, but it had no sound and poor emulation speed at about 30fps.

Try a new revison because mine plays with sound and no graphical issues.

I would try a new revision, but I can't tell an old download from a new one the way they have their download section set up on the website.

Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 (2.66GHz), 4GB RAM. Twilight Princess: 30FPS in intro, 27FPS in game. EDIT: 21 -> 27. Not sure what I changed to get the FPS boost...

Well, I'm gonna give this emulator a try, first, then I'll check out the one they release next. :3 Thanks for the link, by the way. Edit: Well, this Emulator does work better than the current one I had. It runs Mario Kart Double Dash at 55+ FPS in menus and start screens, but only between 29.5-31FPS in races. I think it has to be the video plugin, since my computer should be able to run it at full speed.

You should consider going 64x , alot of your system isn't being used because it's getting capped by your 32x operating system.

I wish I COULD use 64x, but my computer can't run it, so... I'm still waiting on a new usable version of Dolphin, though.

What do you mean your computer can't run it? you EXCEED the requirements easily. a quadcore 3.4 Ghz? Very much exceed 4GB DDR2 ? The moment your over 1GB your exceeding. Unless your telling me you have this POWERFUL setup with a onboard graphics card, I don't see how your system cannot run 64x Also waiting for a new version of Dolphin with reliable input playback.

I don't really know much about computers. All I know is I bought a Nvidia Video Card when I upgraded it. And whatever is going on, whenever I try to use the 64x version, it keeps saying my system can't open it, so... Edit: Also, I think you read my specs wrong for my Processor. It's a 2.71GHz Dual Core.

Does anyone know what is the hotkey to go to the next frame, once you've started the frame stepping mode ? Thanks :)
