About the Run
In this game the way I did "Flashing Columns" to be destroyed a jewel flashing at the bottom of the screen, also on the left is a counter that tells you the fastest time you did. I decided to go for level 9, that is, the harder level
Note: This run uses Revision 00. If you have any desynchs, then check the revision.

Wow, nine votes and only one comment? And most of those votes are Yes votes? That seems odd. Anyway, I finally got around to watching this. It is slightly better than Sonikkustar's attempt. However, Sonikkustar's run was canceled presumably because of goal choice. Namely, the "Flashing Columns" run doesn't give enough chances to be interesting. I think there's the same problem with this run. I would be more interested to see something involving big combos. However, this isn't bad, so Meh vote.
Used to be a frequent submissions commenter. My new computer has had some issues running emulators, so I've been here more sporadically. Still haven't gotten around to actually TASing yet... I was going to improve Kid Dracula for GB. It seems I was beaten to it, though, with a recent awesome run by Hetfield90 and StarvinStruthers. (http://tasvideos.org/2928M.html.) Thanks to goofydylan8 for running Gargoyle's Quest 2 because I mentioned the game! (http://tasvideos.org/2001M.html) Thanks to feos and MESHUGGAH for taking up runs of Duck Tales 2 because of my old signature! Thanks also to Samsara for finishing a Treasure Master run. I was feeling wishy-washy on this run, and I couldn't figure out quite why, because for what this run is, it's actually pretty good--it just felt like something was seriously lacking. And I think mklip pegged it. Is there another way to play Flashing Columns? One that possibly has multiple levels? Perhaps it could be gimped into having multiple levels in a similar way to the site's Kirby Dream Course movie doing all courses. I'm actually going to vote No on this one, with the addendum that I'd really like to see something cooler done with this game and this idea.

Well, I liked the earlier submission for this game; improving upon it is a good way to earn that Yes vote from me.

I wonder if this time is even close to the optimal time. I have managed to finish the level 9 on novice in only 20 seconds (measured with the in-game timer) without aid of emulator but of course the initial arrangement of jewels and the pieces were different. It might be possible to improve it for example by stacking more unsuitable pieces on the sides and wait until you get a piece that fits better and removes more jewels at once.
