Hey guys, was just wondering if anyone here has experience converting game music formats into something generic. I'll be more specific: I'm looking for a way to convert NSF and SPC files into a format playable in FMOD. For example, NSF --> MIDI would be okay, but I'm hoping there's a way to retain as much of the original's information as possible. As such I'm wondering if it's possible to convert to a tracker format such as MOD, IT or S3M. Is there a program that can do this, or would it have to be done manually? Why I'd like to use a tracker format:
  • Loop points (which are very much needed)
  • Smaller filesize
  • Compatibility with the system I'm working with
I'd greatly appreciate any help/suggestions.[/list]
<adelikat> I am annoyed at my irc statements ending up in forums & sigs

At least OpenSPC supports dumping SPCs to IT.
