Hi, I'm testing the PCSX (v0.1.2) and I have these n00b-questions: 1-How can I do the rerecords? 2-Is there any comfortable way to pause the emulator when recording (without pressing escape)? 3-Is it possible to change the "Hotkeys"? 4-Is it possible to change the game speed? 5-Can you use the autofire mode? thanks

Well, I managed to solve the 4 first problems by myself, but now there are other annonying problems: 1-Sometimes, when starting a new recording, the emulator ignores my customized controllers and hotkeys for no apparent reason, why? 2-When I load a state the screen freezes (the frame count doesn't) and I cannot keep playing... 3-The emulator slow downs continually which encourages me to stop playing. I don't know if it is my computer's fault, but I think is not at all.

PCSX is one of, if not the most, unstable emulators we consider usable on the site. I don't have any specific answers to your questions, unfortunately, but the reality is that a couple of our emulators are less polished than others.

I'm also trying to get PCSX working for the first time. I've downloaded v0.1.2, done the configuration as suggested in the download, and gotten a game for download with .bin and .cue files. However, once I set the BIOS, whether or not I select "Run CD" or "Run CD from BIOS", after a certain point before the title screen, the game freezes up. At this point, there seems to be nothing I can do besides shut down PCSX and start over. (By the way, I'm not even recording a movie yet... I'm just trying to play the game.) Does anyone have any suggestions about how to diagnose why the game freezes or such? Thanks!
Used to be a frequent submissions commenter. My new computer has had some issues running emulators, so I've been here more sporadically. Still haven't gotten around to actually TASing yet... I was going to improve Kid Dracula for GB. It seems I was beaten to it, though, with a recent awesome run by Hetfield90 and StarvinStruthers. (http://tasvideos.org/2928M.html.)
