This game is an arcade classic. You control Flicky and the goal is to get the Chirps to the door. Watch out for the cats, because if you get tagged by them, you lose a chance. If they tag one of the chirps following you, it breaks them up and you have to get them again. There are bonus stages in where you catch chirps in a net. Scoring: 10 points per chirp tagged (only once) 100x per chirp returned (up t0 5) 1000 for 6th, 2000 for 7th, 5000 or 8th 200+ points for hitting foes with objects <20>60 seconds = no bonus points bonus stage 250 points per chirp caught in a net 10000 bonus points for all 20 There are 48 levels, and they repeat with faster speeds.

Oh, I remember this game. Are you planning to run it? If not, maybe I will, it seems simple enough as a first game.

Another good idea may be to run the Master System/SG-1000 version, or possibly even the original arcade version.

I'm thinking about trying this some time. Sonnikkustar also showed some interest. Is there really any reason to try something other than Genesis? I'm fairly certain the Genesis version is the most famous one.

I would prefer the Master System/SG-1000 version because it's insanely more difficult than the Genesis version (which has much better playability and commands) ... but the Genesis version is more appealing with its better music, better accuracy, and better "girl next window" =P EDIT1: Can you beat this guy that posted on Youtube? (or maybe are you this guy?) XD http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kA4VFxfiORg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7zoGLIYj2wo And this other guy too? (which I'm assuming can be you too?) xP http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5qkmCAmFgeE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dtvu32ycwQY TAS skills can make it better with more planned paths .. +D

I tased the first two rounds and managed to improve the currently published movie by 47 frames. Most of it comes from a different movement technique (pressing the direction every second frame instead of holding the direction the whole time). This increases running speed on average by 6 subpixels per frame and jumping by 18.

I look forward to this movie, I loved this game when I was a child, the farthest I got was to lvl 127. Please make this TAS a reality.
