Post subject: IMG /IMG in SA forum

My brother is having problem trying figure out how to SHOW image on forum.. what he did is add IMG and end /IMG in bracket around image link (direct to imageshack), it just show up as texted link, no picture.. Help?

that's what he did.. it has http:// in it, it has img /img bracket, like that..
[img]http://www.nerdparadise.com/crap/Cube_Murder.jpeg[/img]
but it show up like this

no image showing up. *edit - update, odd now image is showing up*

:eng101: There's a setting in the user control panel that allows you to see images as urls only. Click that off and it'll show the image if it's in img tags. It's under "Edit Options, make sure this is set to "yes": Show image attachments and

I think he already has that option deselected, since he edited a previous post with "*edit - update, odd now image is showing up*". It wouldn't be showing up at all if that option wasn't unchecked, so I don't think the control panel was the problem. I wonder why that's set to off by default anyway...
