It would be possible to do a port comparison TAS of Gradius II (The Famicom version and the PC Engine version) using the same emulator. It is unknown if Mednafen rerecording will be acceptable for NES TASes.

IIRC those are pretty much different games, and the PCECD version is vastly superior.
