Actually, I think if you want to work on a 100% run, it should be in Hard mode instead. (Similar to the Aria of Sorrow 100% Souls). Reasons include: -Able to skip cutscenes (also skipped in AoS100%) -No EX skills can be obtained, making boss fights markedly different from the current Normal Mode TAS -No Cyber Elfs can be used, and since Clokkle is the only one you're currently considering (speeds up weapon charging, which is disabled for the Z-Saber in Hard anyways), you wouldn't have to worry about e-crystals Of course, this means boss battles will take much longer, Zero being deprived of massive damage combos and all. On the other hand, because Zero no longer has to worry about A/S rank for obtaining EX skills, so he can probably fly through parts of the stages faster, killing less enemies.

I pretty much dislike the idea, boss would take too long, and i would have to attach to the shield, and no comboes makes the boss fights so boring. E-Crystals or Ranks aren't something to care much. The main reason i stop to kill enemies is because i have to kill certain number of certain enemies to get the disk. For more information, follow this FAQ. Also, i uploaded an encode 2 posts before, take a look at it. On an unrelated note, i also tried to get Clokkle in a different way, it's slower, but i though it would be cool to let you know, look here.

I've always felt that 100% runs where the items collected are entirely useless were rather pointless (barring games like SM64, where the entire point of the game is in the collections). The run should have the opportunity to take advantage of all the neat toys Zero is picking up.

Well, the WIP is speedy (good!), makes use of the Recoil Rod (great!), and doesn't appear to lose too much time compared to the any% run (phew!). However, I'm still not sure a finished 100% TAS will be accepted as a new category, but Megaman 7 has a 100% TAS alongside the any%, despite not using many of the extra items outside of collecting other items (ie Rush Search for Exit), so it's possible.

Deathtanz Mantisk done. I decided to equip the Recoild Rod and Z-Saber on Childre and Deathtanz because using the Buster is slower because of more Start pausing. About Deathtanz, this was the most complicated and hardest stage to do so far, this stage demonstrate a lot of use of Pogo Jump with the Recoil Rod, i also got the SubTank, assuming it's a collectible for the 100% goal. Also, i decided to do this TAS mainly for me and anyone who wants to see it, i will still submit it to the site since i know there's a little chance of it being accepted, but i don't care if it get's accepter or not. Hope you all enjoy :)

Baby Elves (1) done. Well, after i did this mission, i noticed that i can't pick up some of the disks in the base, so apparently i will have to divide the base rush into 2 parts, since i need to do some missions to get others, i will use Hex Editting to fix that.

Hanumachine R done. Introduced one of the base rush into the movie by Hex Editting, and also fixed a little mistake on Deathtanz, then had to re-manipulate forward bosses. For Hanumachine, the stage uses a lot the Recoil Rod for Pogo jump here and there, and unfortunately the Recoil Rod can't destroy 2 of those big blocks before the boss, so i picked those Tile Enemies's Disk before charging it again.

Oh, I used ffdshow. I wasn't even aware vba runs COULD desync, there's nothing to really fuck up, like with the N64 plugins. I pretty much follow the encoder guidelines page when I make encodes, so I'm not sure what could have gone wrong. I'll see if I can get this one right later today.

Then it may be Youtube who desynced your video, it sucks :S. EDIT: About the progress, Blizzack Staggroff is done. Decided to use Recoil Rod + Saber on this stage, Pogo Jumping saves lots of time in the whole run, difference from the buster wich only saves on enemies.

Well, i got dissapointed by this run, so im quitting (for now), probably i will pick it in a future, probably not. Im realy disliking that i have to wait too much time because getting the disks, so the entertainment is going a bit down IMO. But i want to work on the Any% I tested some stuff and getting Clokkle is faster, but i have to spent some frames getting 1 disks, that gives me 100 E-Crystals, since it's impossible for me to manipulate 200 Crystals appearing, but 100 is doable.

Copy-X Mark II finished (100%). Next is Glacier, a big dissapointment for this run is that the midboss will be 3 times longer than the normal fight. About the Any%, i finished Childre Inarabitta improving more than 669 (00:11.65 seconds) frames.

In the 100% TAS, im in Glacier Le Cactank, and im stuck with something, apparently the midboss have a fixed pattern. Everyone knows that he always appear in the upper part, but i can't manipulate it to appear in the lower part, i want to know if someone have seen him appear in the lower part in the second time it appears. EDIT: I got a theory. Normaly, when you hit the boss with a fire attack, he will hide again (unless you hit him when duggin out), i managed to make him appear in the lower part hitting him with a fire attack when he starts the animation of the little snowballs. This may be simply because of manipulation, im still experimenting with this.
