Post subject: Using RAM/LUA

Hello Right now, I'm working and BOF 1 (see appropriate thread) for SNES. During my current run, I found out that action, not what frame the battle begins, determines if an enemy drop an item. For the Goblin fight, I need it to drop protnb, so I don't have to get it in romero (it's quite a detour). twice or thrice, it dropped a protnA, which is 50% weaker. I suppose that i could manipulate the drop more easily if I knew how to use RAM or LUA. what are those? and how can I use them?
