Post subject: how to use left+R on joypad

hello i made an smw pandemonium castle 1 TAS but 1 person sayt i had to use the left+right glitch on the cloud i think he was right and an friend on youtube sayt click on enable left/R up/down i did that and now my question how do i activate this in game so i can use it on my joypad or put it on an custom key like i did on zsnes hope it doesnt involve HEX editing i suck with HEX

Go to Config > Controls > Configure Controls. In the lower right corner of the window, there should be a box saying "Allow L+R/U+D". Tick that one and you should be good.

i did that but how do i use it in game is there an hotkey for that or anything else i jsut need to know how to use it:P

Write an AutoHotKeys script that simulates sending d-pad left and d-pad right.

If you got a snes9x version with "Input Macro Editor", go into it. Write : (><) into the first line and check it, and also check the "Toggle" button. That way the game will automatically press right and left at the same time for you until you unchek that line in the "Macro Input Editor". If you don't have the "Input Macro Editor", simply go to Joypad Configuration and assign left to your keyboard and right to your joypad, so you can press them together. Reassign left to your joypad when L+R is not needed anymore.
