I told Huffle a strategy idea I had and he improved DS: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QnBkS7_llQw I still think he should be using Polt instead of Egg 1 though

guys, I have a question I've improved the ending by "001 (vid) but I myself don't understand why it saves time… both methods end on the same frame, how does the game calculate time so precisely?

If it helps at all to know, Kart 64 does the same thing. I think it may consider how far over the line your kart is on the frame you cross.

so… I wanted to use the Live Ghost code, which is 023CDD57 00000001 but the game freezes at the countdown… it works fine on DS I had a similar problem with 300cc code, but later found a code that worked on DeSmuME, there are no other variations of the Live Ghost though. Actually, I know there exists one for the JP version, but I don't know that code itself edit: this has been solved

does anyone have any idea how the Live Ghost code could be turned on/off? or if it's possible at all? the code: 223CDD54 00000001 (EU/US)

while researching something completely unrelated, I found out MKDS uses something like 3 different timers fused together to create its visual timer. might investigate more tomorrow, but I don't think I'll understand much about how they work together anyway bonus video since I didn't post it because it's very improvable Link to video

SG PRB+SC with BLS by Huffle http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G05iZ4ZJ3wc I was able to motivate him :) I can only think of one different strategy, other than that there are no noticeable mistakes edit: here the .DSM http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/874420638/rsg2.dsm

Mission 2-4 25″250 by me, it was a first try in 20 mins so it’s pretty bad, but due to the fact that it beats all known records by a lot and that there is no competition over it, I don’t think I’ll improve it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zS9AHiVKI8 also, I haven’t been posting them but Huffle made some more cool TASes, just check his channel or something edit: improved 1 frame to 25″266, jumping on top of the last item box instead of driving straight

That is great! I tried for a long time on my DS a few months ago just to get a three star rank, but you made it look easy! Are you going to do a full-game run (of Grand Prix or Mission mode)?

this game is too hard to optimize, I don’t think I have the patience for a full TAS

Oh, that's too bad. Anyway, I've watched all the videos linked to here and they're all really entertaining. I hope Huffle or someone makes a full GP/Mission Mode TAS.
