I would like a particular game to be TAS'd, but I can't even get it to run... It works on Windows 95 and 98 (the minimum sys. req.) but nothing NOT DOS BASED. Well, to clarify it's a FVM, which makes for good entertainment, but only the video works on new Windows, not the text blobs to choose an action. I always pick the 'wrong' one and mess up. A TAS shouldn't have that problem, though.... it may actually make it more entertaining for a viewer... Anyway, It's "Dark Side of the Moon" (NOT THE PINK FLOYD ALBUM!!) and it was a good game to play when I was 5. Rated T for Teen.

If its really Windows game (even if it appears to be mostly to be DOS game), then no currently approved emulator can rerecord that. There are some attempts at rerecording Windows games: Thread #8750: Hourglass, for Windows TASing.

DOS based should be taken with a large grain of salt. It's a real new os that just happens to have a few backwards compatibility features.
