Post subject: Digital CMOS Logic synth NES Controller Modual

So, besides TAS, my other big hobbie is building my own analog/digital synths and noise makers. Im currently researching the nintendo entertainment system's controller pad for use with in my digital logic synth. well, you just get a different stream of data bits on the output pin. The nes sends a scan pulse to the controller to check the state of each button. so you would get something like 00001001 instead of 00001000 (basically) You cant trick TAS my synth :/ ..and that video is just one example of how the NES controller could interact with my digital logic synth. It's basically only gating the sound. So when a button state sends an active pulse to the synth you can hear it during the pulse duration, which is why it's so stuttery. Thanks for checking it out.
