I wouldn't recommend starting on getting the aboveground CDs until you figure out a way to get the belowground ones. They'll need an entirely different type of glitch to access. In fact, likely you'll need some kind of savefile corruption, or some way to get Rush Dig into Forte's inventory (which I'd guess means corrupting weapon data). I don't think anyone's done any research into that kind of thing for this game yet.
Pyrel - an open-source rewrite of the Angband roguelike game in Python.
It's been a long time since I played the game, but I recall there being at least one non-Rush Search CD that Bass cannot get at all. Like, it flat out doesn't appear when you're playing as him.

Then again, it doesn't really seem like a 100% run if you don't actually collect the items yourself. If I want to see a 100% run I want to see all those 100% being collected, not seeing them randomly pop up after the credits.
Mmarks, I greatly recommend to you to stop and think before you TAS. Collecting all non-Rush Search CDs first and then thinking about the Rush Search ones is both unpractical and suboptimal, since if it's even possible to get them you would need to revisit all stages again, or redo the entire TAS - which means there isn't a point to do the non-Rush CDs first in the first place.

<dwangoAC> This is a TAS (...). Not suitable for all audiences. May cause undesirable side-effects. May contain emulator abuse. Emulator may be abusive. This product contains glitches known to the state of California to cause egg defects.
<Masterjun> I'm just a guy arranging bits in a sequence which could potentially amuse other people looking at these bits
<adelikat> In Oregon Trail, I sacrificed my own family to save time. In Star trek, I killed helpless comrades in escape pods to save time. Here, I kill my allies to save time. I think I need help.
Thanks, woabclf.
But it makes it impossible to complete the level later. When Forte reaches the same level as the ground floor, he walks automatically.
I'm looking forward to your work.

Alongside Forte, I've started making Rockman any% run again.
And I found a new trick for Rockman. Slide under the ceiling without pause menu.

A new Rockman any% completed to Burner level. Now, 252 frames faster and extends 120 bolts.
This run contains some improvements which can apply to 100CDs too.
Rockman run may be going to be completed earlier than Forte.

Do you not make TAS of 100CD?
After all, you have more experience
Others may be very difficult to make
It is a prior to complete any% for the time being. Afterwards, I think.

Just so I understand, you're working on 100CDs-Rockman, and sparky is working on any%Rockman?
Yes, I'm making both of Rockman's any% and Forte's any% now.
Rockman will be completed soon. Forte is subsequent.

sparky: you can do the same way than rockman, using to forte, I say, if you understand, could do it faster. I'm just saying and you find out if have time
If you do not understand, I say, starting with Cold > Astro > Dynamo and so like Rockman

The bosses are done in weakness order until Counter Attacker is gotten because the Forte Buster only does 1 damage per hit against bosses; from my understanding, that would more than negate the time that would be saved from rushing to Dynamo Man.
