http://news.yahoo.com/s/digitaltrends/20110216/tc_digitaltrends/thegreatgatsbygetsthenintendotreatment Has anyone ever heard of this? Looks like another unreleased game like Earthbound Zero. There is significant history here because The Great Gatsby was written by F. Scott Fitzgerald and his wife's name was the source for the name for a famous video game heroine.

It's fake, IMO Which is a shame, because when I first heard about it I immediately wanted to tas it D: Hope I'm wrong!
I make a comic with no image files and you should read it. While there is a lower class, I am in it, and while there is a criminal element I am of it, and while there is a soul in prison, I am not free. -Eugene Debs

I think you are right. Now that I look at the actual game, it's clearly a flash game made to look like an NES game. Too bad. Edit: All right, here's a little more. Yahoo is a great place to get news headlines but their research isn't very deep. http://www.nesplayer.com/interviews/greatgatsby/index.htm So yes, it's just a flash game and the authors made up the yard sale story for some well-deserved publicity. A very interesting story but no NES rom is involved.

Damn, I really thought Fitzgerald was going to be spinning in his grave upon the completion of an insanely fast and stylish TAS. Alas.
